The dream of a holiday apartment in Spain has been there for many years, but without us really getting anything done about it. But in the spring of 2020, there was suddenly a little extra time to look at various websites that mediate holiday apartments.

Early in this process, we got in touch with homes-abroad.com, which pretty quickly tracked down our many criteria. After some communication per. mail, we manage to find 3 apartments we would like to see in the Alicante area. At that time, however, there was a ban on traveling to Spain from Denmark.

But when it suddenly became possible again, they succeed very quickly in making agreements regarding viewings. They also helped us book an apartment we could stay in while in Spain.

We were picked up at the apartment, exactly as agreed, and we got to see the apartments. We quickly fell in love with the one we saw again a few days later. Throughout the trip, their area manager was also a happy driver for us and showed us around the local area.

The subsequent process of getting the entire purchase agreement in place, went quite unproblematically - at least for us, because housing abroad helped us all the way.

We were recommended a Danish lawyer and a Danish bank director, so we have been in good and safe hands throughout the process.

We can highly recommend living abroad to others who want to live out the dream of a holiday apartment in beautiful Spain!
