After some consideration, we decided to buy a holiday home in Spain. On the property abroad fair in Herning, Denmark, we talked with several stands that offered help with this.

Homes-Abroad seemed most trustworthy, so we decided to continue working with them.

We was not sure if we should concentrate our search on the area of Malaga or Alicante but with help and guidance from Homes-Abroad, we ended up choosing on the area south of Alicante. We got in touch with Kristian from the local homes-abroad office on the Costa Blanca south and he helped us pick out some relevant properties for our need. After some communication back and forth, we ended up with a list of about 20 relevant properties in the area. Most of them we had found on the homes-abroad.net website after suggestion from Kristian but others were from totally different websites / estate agents in Spain that they also worked with.

The trip to Spain was planned, in collaboration with Kristian who was also helpful to suggest a very nice hotel.

During the inspection trip we not only focused on the apartment but Kristian also told us that we had to find the right area, so besides showing properties he also gave us a guided tour in the area. During this tour we could ask for and get a thorough explanation of everything - from local sights to taxation and many other useful things to know.

Homes-abroad have supported us in any possible way during the process of finding and buying, including finding the right lawyer, open bank account, making the right budget, calculating our annual costs, and much more. Even after the purchase, they have been helpful, for example. They have helped us with installation of Internet connection and much more. Their extended aftersale service is for life and we can always contact them with whatever problem me may have in the future.
